Based in Bangladesh, Pebble supports young women with sustainable income opportunities. When the organization was first created, it operated as a small nonprofit teaching women to knit within a spare workroom. Since then, it has supported thousands of women with fair wages.
Artisan women can work from their rural communities, allowing them to work from home to support their families and avoid migrating to find dignified, fair work. These soft, plush rattles are carefully handmade with cotton, a polyester fill, and natural materials while practicing crochet and knit techniques.
